Our hosted internet site provides an open, neutral marketplace between suppliers and airlines to streamline the supply chain. Since we develop the applications that enable this collaboration, we are able to adapt rapidly to the emerging needs of our customers.
The Product Management team within the company is responsible for developing the products offered by the company. We are looking for a Business Analysts to join this team and work towards leading some of our products.
Meet with global customers at their location to gather, analyze business processes.
Conceptualize software solutions to enhance products based on these meetings.
Document the software requirements specifications to be handed to development teams to develop these solutions.
Collaborate with other product managers within the company to ensure software products are consistent in look and feel.
Communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders to define and reengineer software products and business processes.
Review published materials and recommend revisions or changes in scope, format, content, and methods of documenting.
Experience with EDI, SPEC2000, X12, cXML, RosettaNet, iDOC or other e-commerce formats.
At least 3 years of business experience with at least 1 year in requirements analysis and documentation for software projects.
Ability to work with cross-functional teams and communicate with internal and external stakeholders from different disciplines.
Ability to work on multiple projects and multiple products.
Ability to conform to shifting priorities, demands and timelines.
Effective verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills in English. Knowledge of other languages is a plus.
Experience with Web-based integrations including XML messaging. Must be able to build HTML mockups for workflows.
Working knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word and PowerPoint.
Willingness to travel upto 20% of the time to meet with our global customer base.
Bachelor's degree in computer science, business or other equivalent programs is a plus.
Experience designing XML messages and mapping between different e-commerce messages formats is a plus.
Experience developing/using aviation supply chain software is a plus.
